Carissimi amici, è con grande piacere che porgo il benvenuto a atleti, coaches, dirigenti di club, Dirigenti Federali che parteciperanno all'edizione 2011 della Coppa Europa. Questa manifestazione ritorna in Italia dopo 13 anni e per noi è un grande onore e punto di orgoglio poterla organizzare. Il nostro impegno sarà al massimo per essere all'altezza della situazione e fornire a tutti i partecipanti il nostro supporto logistico affinchè possano trascorrere un periodo di tempo indimenticabile a Vergiate. Colgo l'occasione per ringraziare tutti gli enti, pubblici e privati, che con il loro supporto hanno reso possibile l'organizzazione della manifestazione. Un ringraziamento particolare ad Agusta Westland che ci ha messo a disposizione il proprio auditorium per la Cerimonia di apertura, luogo ideale per un'occasione così importante. Dearest Friends, It is with great pleasure that I welcome athletes, coaches, club officers, federal managers participating to the European Cup 2011. This event returns to Italy after 13 years and it is great honor and pride for us of GSP Vergiate to have had the opportunity to organize it. Our commitment will be at its best to be up to the situation and to provide the necessary logistic support to allow our participants to spend and enjoy memorable days in Vergiate. I take this opportunity to thank all public and private institutions, whose support has made possible the management of the event. A special thank to Agusta Westland for getting available its auditorium for the opening ceremony, the ideal place for such an official and outstanding event. Liebste Freunde, herzlich freue ich mich, Sie alle als Sportler, Trainer, Vereinführer, Bundesführer als Teilnehmer an die European Cup 2011 willkommend zu begrüßen. Dieses europäische Ereignis kommt nach Italien nach 13 Jahren zurück und ehrlich haben wir die Gelegenheit empfangen, dieses Event mit Stolz zu organisieren. Wir werden unsere Verpflichtungen erfüllen, um allen Teilnehmern und Sportlern unsere logistische Hilfe wirksam zu leisten, sodaß Sie sich allen an Ihren italienischen Aufenthalt in Vergiate freundlich erinnern können. Ich würde auch gerne diese Gelegenheit wahrnehmen, allen öffentlichen und privaten Institutionen herzlich zu danken, dessen wirksame Hilfe hat es gut geschafft, dieses merkwürdige Sportereignis zu erzielen. A nome della Federazione Europea di Minigolf, porgo il benvenuto a tutti i partecipanti, gli organizzatori e gli sponsors. Sono sicuro che la Coppa Europa sarà una straordinaria esibizione di minigolf, con la dimostrazione di ottime abilità sportive, lealtà e rispetto reciproco tra i partecipanti. Tutti i giocatori hanno una lunga esperienza nell’ambito delle competizioni e sanno affrontare perfettamente questi intensi momenti di gara. Assisterete sicuramente a prove di altissimo livello, giocate pista per pista e vivendo momenti con colpi emozionanti. E come sempre i giocatori godranno della più cordiale atmosfera di grande amicizia. Vergiate è il luogo ideale per questa competizione, con tutte le premesse per un’eccellente organizzazione. On behalf of the European Minigolfsport Federation, I welcome all participants, organizers and sponsors. I am sure that the European Cup will be a good minigolf exhibition, with nice playing skills, fair-play and respect among all participants. Players have a long competition experience; they are used to play these moments of intense competition. For sure you will assist a high level of minigolf skills, playing lane by lane with nice putting moments. As usual players will have the best friendship atmosphere. Vergiate is an excellent place for this competition, with all the required needs to have a good organization. With the input of all participants this competition will be a success. Im Namen vom Minigolf Europäischen Verband begrüße ich willkommend alle Spieler, Veranstalter und Sponsoren. Ich bin sicher, daß der Europa Cup ein außerordentliches Minigolfereignis sein wird, mit hochqualifizierten Sportsfähigkeiten und klaren Bezeichnungen von ehrlichem Fairplay und gegenseitigem Respekt unter den Teilnehmern. Alle Spieler haben hinreichende Wettbewerberfahrungen gesammelt, deshalb wissen sie schon gut, wie diese anstrengenden Momente zu überleben. Sicherlich werden Ausdrücke von hochschätzender Minigolfkunst durch die Bahnen und mit gespannten Schlagmomenten gespielt. Wie gewöhnlich werden die Spieler die tiefste Freundschaftsatmosphäre genießen. Vergiate ist der ausgezeichnete Standort für diesen Wettbewerb dank aller positiven Voraussetzungen für eine erfolgreiche Veranstaltung. Sono orgoglioso di porgere il saluto del Comitato Tecnico della Federazione Italiana Golf su Pista ad un evento così importante quale la Coppa Europa 2011 per Club di Minigolf, un appuntamento unico nel suo genere, che finalmente ritorna ad essere disputato in Italia, nella magnifica location di Vergiate. Un caloroso benvenuto ai partecipanti, ai tecnici, ai preparatori e ai loro accompagnatori a questo importantissimo palcoscenico internazionale. Auguro loro giornate intense, ricche di soddisfazioni e di poter respirare un clima e un'atmosfera particolari, che si aggiungeranno alle emozioni del gioco. Un evento di questo tipo rappresenta senza dubbio ciò che lo Sport deve prima di tutto saper insegnare: un agonismo sano che sappia legare a sé i valori dell’amicizia, dello stare insieme, della condivisione e di amicizia tra popoli diversi e uniti nei valori propri dello Sport del Minigolf. Praticare uno Sport a livello agonistico è quanto di più simile possa esserci al “gioco” della vita: il rispetto delle regole, la lealtà verso gli avversari e i compagni sul campo, lo spirito di squadra, sono tutti valori imprescindibili senza i quali è difficile, forse impossibile, poter vivere. On behalf of the Technical Committee of Federazione Italiana Golf su Pista – Italian Minigolfsport Federation, I am proud to welcome such an important and unique event as the European Cup 2011, on its coming back to Italy, to its marvellous location in Vergiate. A warm and friendly welcome to all participants, athletes, technicians, trainers and teams to this extraordinary international stage. I wish you all emotionally intense and successful days and to enjoy the special competition atmosphere melting with the excitement of the game. Such an event represents undoubtedly what sport has primarily to teach: a pure and fair competitive spirit, matching the values of friendship, of staying together, of sharing among several different people united in the Minigolfsport values. Herzlichsten heiße ich alle Teilnehmer, Techniker, Trainer und Teams bei dieser außerordentlichen internationalen Bühne willkommen. Ich wünsche Ihnen allen aufregende und erfolgreiche Tage, wo Sie eine besondere angenehme Atmosphäre zusammen mit den Spielgefühlen genießen können. Ein solches Sportereignis stellt ohne Zweifel dar, was Sport zuerst lehren soll: ein reines Wettbewerbgefühl, bestehend aus den dauernden Werten von Freundschaft, Zusammenleben und Gemeinschaft unter verschiedenen Völkern, die sich im tiefsten Sinn vom Minigolfsport vereinigen. Das Spielen eines Leistungssports spiegelt irgendwie das Lebensspiel dar. Die Beachtung der Regeln, die Treue den Mitspielern, die Redlichkeit mit den Gegenspielern, das Teamgefühl sind grundsätzliche Werte fürs Zusammenleben. A nome dell’Amministrazione Comunale porgo un cordiale saluto all’Associazione Golf su Pista Vergiate, alla ProLoco e a tutti gli enti preposti all’organizzazione di questo importante evento sportivo che il Comune di Vergiate ha l’onore di ospitare. Desidero inoltre ringraziare gli organizzatori della manifestazione che con il loro impegno permettono di valorizzare il nostro paese anche dal punto di vista turistico. Gli ospiti provenienti da diversi Paesi europei potranno infatti apprezzare la piacevolezza del nostro territorio e l’ospitalità dei vergiatesi. Innanzitutto vorrei ringraziare il club organizzatore del G.S.P. Vergiate, il consiglio direttivo e i soci tutti che hanno avuto il desiderio in questa manifestazione di cimentarsi oltre che sul campo che li vede protagonisti da diversi anni in tutta Europa, anche a livello organizzativo e ciò merita il plauso di tutti coloro che praticano il nostro sport con passione e dedizione. Il club del G.S.P. Vergiate che ha fortemente desiderato questa manifestazione e ha già dimostrato più volte in un recente passato, di essere all’altezza di organizzare eventi di livello nazionale e internazionale. Tutti coloro che a vario titolo parteciperanno a questa Coppa Europa potranno godere inoltre della cortese ospitalità del club del Vergiate e delle strutture cittadine. Come sportivo e giocatore auguro a tutti i partecipanti di questa prestigiosa competizione di potersi esprimere al meglio sia dal lato agonistico, ma soprattutto come sportivi. Credo di poter ritenere che l’assegnazione di questi Campionati Europei di Golf su Pista 2011 va considerata come un segno di fiducia verso la ProLoco di Vergiate e il Club Golf su Pista Vergiate, per il lavoro che è stato sostenuto al fine di rendere più piacevole e confortevole l’utilizzo del nostro parco attrezzato minigolf. Per questo, la ProLoco è lieta di collaborare a questa manifestazione di grande importanza che vede a confronto i migliori giocatori europei, con il Club Golf su Pista. Grazie ad un’intensa attività promozionale svolta dai soci del Club che organizzano gare serali per tutti gli amici che frequentano il Minigolf, questo parco è diventato anche un punto di aggregazione e divertimento per tanti ragazzi. Ringrazio pertanto tutto il Consiglio Direttivo del Club Golf su Pista Vergiate ed in particolare, il Presidente Guido Mattaini per il loro impegno al miglioramento del nostro campo. Innnocente Fiorani Presidente ProLoco Vergiate The assignment of the Minigolf Europa Cup 2011 to Vergiate is for me an expression of confidence and trust towards Proloco Vergiate and Golf su Pista Vergiate Club for the mutual engagement to improve our minigolf park to a more pleasant and comfortable use. The Proloco is thus glad and proud to take active part to this important event where the best European players will challenge one another. Thanks to the promotion campaign supported by the Club in organizing evening competitions for all minigolf friends, this park has become an aggregation place for the local young people. I hearty thank the board of directors of Golf su Pista Vergiate Club and specially their President Guido Mattaini for their successful involvement in the improvement of our park. Cari minigolfisti, è sempre bello il momento in cui l’organizzazione di una gara comincia a trasformarsi e diventare una realtà. Oggi è proprio quello che sta avvenendo, con una si leale competizione, ma nel segno dell’amicizia e della cooperazione solidale fra le Nazioni della nostra bella Europa. E’ quindi con legittima soddisfazione ed orgoglio che porgo il saluto alle squadre partecipanti, augurando a tutte un sincero “ in bocca al lupo “, anche se, per spirito di appartenenza, sarebbe bello che vincesse la “ Padrona di Casa “ e quindi l’Italia, anche per continuare i festeggiamenti dei 150 anni dell’unità della nostra Nazione.Un grazie particolare al Club del Vergiate che ospita la manifestazione e che, come sempre si distinguerà nella perfetta organizzazione e cortesia, mettendo a proprio agio giocatori e accompagnatori.
